Roger Sando of Whyalla has offered the following advice:-
I have fitted several (6 or 7) of these doors both double locks and single to 4 various and different vans now. I noticed one feedback comment that said the double lock key system is a bit of a pain and it is, I agree particularly on the double lock door. However...I have overcome the problem by simply filing off the outer tab on the key.... this allows you to open one lock...remove the key and simply open the other side and take keys right out or away. You can then operate both latches open/closed with the locking mechanism turned out of the way. (You usually have to return and lock the opening mechanism when you remove the key). When on site this is great as you can open/close door easily at any time with no keys.....BUT if/when security is an issue, or when travelling....you must remember to key lock the door catches then. Perhaps this is worthwhile passing this on to customers as it means you don’t always have to have keys, and don’t have to leave them in the door while unloading/loading etc.
