Move your twin axle van with ease! Simple to use remote control, directs the caravan into any position required. Rotate the caravan through 360° degrees. Works on most surfaces in most conditions. Control when going up or downhill, control when hitching, control when unhitching.
Supplied with complete fitting kit including all cables, clamps, p-clips, cable ties, chassis stops, convoluted cable trunking, 2 power units, Electronic Control Unit (ECU), remote control handset, cross actuation device.
FeaturesPurpleline caravan movers enable the user to manoeuvre a caravan via remote control to hitch, de-hitch or park the caravan into a tight spot. They take the stress out of these highly demanding manoeuvres and the risk of damage to the caravan.
If you have a tandem axle caravan it is recommended that you buy 2 complete kits (4 motors). While 1 kit will still work, 2 will allow a much tighter turning circle.
In dual configuration (two motors) both motors are capable of moving a caravan of upto 2.25 tonne, and in quad configuation (four motors) it is possible to move a caravan up to 3.5 tonne on a flat surface. Note the quad configuration can result in some reduction in manoeuverability upwards of 2.5 tonne.
Best in class and TUV Approved.
Corrosive resistant materials used.
Direct drive gearboxes.
Solid cast alloy rollers for superior grip and reliability.
Cross actuation allows both rollers to be engaged or from either side of the caravan.
Heavy duty design for Australian single and dual axle caravans.
Low current and battery indicator.
High current tempreture indicator.
Isolation switch to prevent accidental use of remote control.
ECU will shut off remote after 60 seconds of inactivity.
Compare Purpleline
We get asked "which Purpleline is the best?." The E-Go is, however the differences may have little effect on many caravans. The E-go looks a little more elegant. The E-Go will not require adjustment as your tyres wear down. The E-go has a better gearbox so is recommended for heavier caravans or where the slope is significant. The E-go uses a little less power to get the job done.
Both units are fully waterproof. The e-go is made from anodised alloy, meaning it is extremely resistant to corrosion.
Both units can handle being submerged, however if operated underwater the motor will suck water in and break. Water crossings will not be a problem.
Off Road Useage
Ground clearance will be the same as the axle.
If extra ground clearance is required then an option could be to mount the axle underneath the springs, giving another 6 inches or so of clearance. From this position the motors could be mounted slightly higher, and be angled so as to still engage with the centre line of the tyre when in use.
Fitting
The Caravan Movers are sold in a kit with everything you need to install them yourself. There is also a nation wide network of professional fitters you can pay to install it for you. Please contact us for one in your area.
